Translator : Any-to-Any Data
Translator Seamlessly integrates your internal
business application with external partners in a
24x7 automated live environment, mapping
business messages back and forth in different
file formats, such as X12, EDIFACT, XML, Proprietary
etc. It also maps directly to databases.

Designer,
Mapper and Simulator Implementor is a very
sophisticated product, used for effortlessly
creating layout of your business application
message and map it to a format agreed with your
trading partner. Business rules may be embedded
for validation and mapping. It's Simulator
feature helps in debugging your mapping quickly
and robustly.
Collaborator : Trading
Partner Manager Collaborator helps in
establishing trading partner agreement between
the two partners wherein various communication
and envelope parameters, which do not form part
of the business message, are specified. It's
Implementation Kit feature helps in deploying
and supporting your EDI implementation
remotely.
For undertaking an EDI implementation, the
products are used in the following order:
- Implementor : Create Layouts and Maps Create
application layout (typically, a proprietary
file layout), so that Translator can exchange
message with the business application and also
validate it. Create partner layout (typically,
an X12 or EDIFACT message) as agreed with the
trading partner so that Translator can
exchange message with the trading partner and
also validate it. Create maps between
application layout and partner layout, so that
Translator can do the appropriate conversion
of application and partner messages.
- Collaborator : Create trading partner
agreement Create Trading Partner Agreement, so
that Translator can find appropriate maps for
conversion and exchange messages with internal
business application and trading
partners.
- Translator : Undertake translation Configure
schedulers to send/receive messages in manual
or in unattended mode. Translator uses files
prepared by Implementor (layouts, maps) and
Collaborator (trading partner agreement) for
undertaking translation.
